I started silversmithing in 2005 as a side hustle to my full time life as a restaurant owner in Portland, Oregon. I took silversmithing and fabricating classes at Portland Community College and Oregon College of art and craft. I primarily only made custom, one of a kind rings at that time and absolutely loved it. In 2010, I sold my restaurant and headed to the hills, the North Cascades foothills that is. I found Twisp, WA, a tiny town full of artists, the perfect escape from Urban life. I found space at a cool place called TwispWorks and had a small studio and teaching space there. Recently I moved my studio on campus and opened The Methow Valley Jewelers Collective, with 8 other jewelers and 1 lapidary.
The work that I produced is deeply rooted in symbolism, positive energy and above all else love.
